When we retired early we pictured travel, pickle ball, and sleeping in. After twenty five years running a fast paced business, we were not ready to slow down. On a visit to friends in beautiful Kona we got hooked on farming in paradise, and we love coffee. In 2018 we bought a half century old farm in the heart of the Kona coffee belt, one that has grown delicious coffee for generations. Farming here is very physical and the pay is humble. For us it is a labor of love, caring for the land and the thousands of trees and animals that share it. We spend a few thousand hours a year cutting weeds, pulling vines, pruning, harvesting, processing, and packing your orders. We hope you enjoy our coffee, honey, avocados, and tropical fruit.

We built Morning Glory Farms on a love of quality coffee. We grow, process, and roast using traditional Kona estate methods, the ones that make some of the best coffee in the world. We produce only about twenty five hundred pounds of roasted coffee a season, enough for our family and a small circle of devoted customers.

When you shop with us you support a small family farm that cares about every last detail. That care is what makes the coffee and honey you will love. Let us know how we can spread a little aloha.

We are not certified organic, but we farm cleaner than most. We use no chemical pesticides or herbicides on the coffee. The reason is simple and personal. We drink this coffee every day, and we will not put anything in our own cup, or yours, that we would not want in our bodies.
Since 2018. Four acres. About three thousand trees. Roughly twenty five hundred pounds a season. Every bag hand picked and farm roasted.
